A Custom Brick Project by Lorrie Feinberg
Using Concrete Molds from Olde World Stone & Tile Molds, Inc.

We have created 250 bricks to line a decomposed granite pathway. Most of them have mosaic tiles, glass or stone in them.  It was an inspiring, unifying and joyful family project. Even the grandparents made a few bricks and also supplied us with Michaels coupons for buying the mosaic pieces. Every day now we spend time in the front yard walking our path, enjoying both the trees and plants we’ve planted as well as the weeds. Not only do I not miss the grass, I can’t imagine life without our beautiful custom home made brick path. The UPS man was so inspired when he saw our brick path, he asked me how to make the bricks so he could do it with his wife and kids.

My husband is now talking about making more stepping stones for paths in between the main paths. We’ll see.
